Congratulations to Michelle A. Lee, Yuke Zhu, Krishnan Srinivasan, Parth Shah, Silvio Savarese, Li Fei-Fei, Animesh Garg and Jeannette Bohg for winning best paper at the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation.
Making Sense of Vision and Touch: Self-Supervised Learning of Multimodal Representations for Contact-Rich Task was also nominated for Best Paper in Cognitive Robotics but took the top prize of Best Paper out of 2,916 total paper submissions in front of an audience of over 3000 attendees.
Congratulations also go to Jeannette Bohg, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, for winning the 2019 IEEE RAS Early Academic Career Award.
